"Eco Color Rubber Chip Paving Material CRC" is an elastic aggregate made from waste tire core material, featuring a thick colored coating of high-strength polyurethane rubber (averaging approximately 50 to 120 μm). It excels in weather resistance and abrasion resistance, maintaining beautiful colors over the long term. It was also adopted at the Aichi Expo (2006), demonstrating excellent reliability. The elastic surface has numerous protrusions of silica sand, significantly improving the slipperiness (hazard) commonly associated with traditional rubber chip pavements. During high summer temperatures, it is safe for both humans and the environment as it does not contain volatile substances (conventional synthetic rubber color chips often contain large amounts of mineral oil, which can cause odors and, in some cases, headaches or nausea). The rubber chip elastic pavement, with approximately 30% voids, provides comfortable walking and driving performance, along with excellent shock absorption that is gentle on the muscles and tendons of the feet.
